Karma Chesnut

Karma Chesnut is a writer, mother, anthropologist, and author of the upcoming novel Unfit. Born and raised in Seattle, Washington, she spent her childhood writing short stories, dreaming up new worlds, and studying the more fascinating, and sometimes macabre, parts of human history.

Pursuing her love of history and human behavior, Karma earned her bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from Brigham Young University and went on to participate in a variety of academic studies, ranging from archaeological digs in the Utah desert to ethnographical research in New Zealand.

Karma currently lives in California with her husband and their three daughters; “the snake-hunter”, “the princess”, and “the baby.”
